He was Bess Wilson Boggs' Grandfather.
Johnson migrated to Fannin County in the late 1850's.  He started the Iron Works at Forge Mill.
He lived the remainder of his life in Fannin County.
He is buried at the Toccoa Church Cemetery in Lakewood, GA.
